Can you play previous Wordle Quizzes?
It seems that New York Times keeps shutting down any site like Wordle Archive that allows you to play past Wordle puzzles. You may find temporary options to play past Wordles but nothing consistent.
When do new Wordles come out?
You have to wait for the clock to hit midnight local time for the new Wordle challenge to show up. To access tomorrow's Wordle much earlier, you can always change your device's timezone to a timezone like New Zealand's.
Wordle Rules
Guess the WORDLE in 6 tries.
Each guess must be a valid 5 letter word. Hit the enter button to submit.
After each guess, the color of the tiles will change to show how close your guess was to the word.
PowerLanguage
The rules below are fundamental in your 6 efforts to make the right guess in Wordle.
- If a letter from your guessed word is in the CORRECT spot of the actual word, it will show up in GREEN.
- If the letter exists in the word, it will be marked in YELLOW if you guessed the wrong spot.
- And if the letter is NOT present in the actual word at all, you will see it in GREY.
How to share your Wordle score on social media
If you want to show off your winning streak in World and your max winning streak, you can click the statistics icon next to the cogwheel icon at the top of your screen.
- This will reveal a pop-up window with your guess distribution, the number of games played, win rate, current streak, and max streak.
- The window will also contain a green SHARE button.
- Click on the SHARE button and today's results will be copied to your clipboard, just like we showcase below:
Wordle 218 6/6
⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛
🟨⬛⬛⬛⬛
⬛🟨⬛⬛🟨
🟨⬛⬛🟨⬛
🟩⬛⬛⬛⬛
🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
- Now you can go to your favorite social media platform, create a new post, and press CTRL + V to paste the results and share them.
If you want to share the rest of your statistics you will have to capture a screenshot of the statistics window and then share it on social media. For instance, on Windows you will have to press the Windows Key + Shift + S to bring up the Snip & Sketch tool and capture the window, just like I did in the case below:
